Wanda Greene Monroe

Wanda Greene Monroe, 54, of 106 B Wesleyan Street, Troy, died Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 28, at Dover Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Don Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Ms. Monroe was born in Montgomery County to Robert Joseph and Fannie Mauldin Greene. Ms. Monroe was a graduate of Richmond Senior High School. She spent twenty-three years driving a school bus and working with disabled children. Surviving are: Two Daughters: Rhonda Renee Maness and husband, Ryan, of Ether, NC Teresa Synoweiz and husband, Bryan, Pinehurst, NC Mother: Fannie B. Greene, Mt. Gilead Two Brothers: Wayne Greene and wife, Shirley, Ellerbe, NC Andy Greene and wife, Debbie, Mt. Gilead, NC Three Sisters: Janet Ondishko and husband, Joe, Mt. Gilead, NC Trudy Shaw, Rockingham, NC Debbie Greene, Mt. Gilead, NC Two grandchildren: Kerry and Olivia Synoweiz The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 28, at Dover Baptist Church.
