Wilbur "Bill" Matthews Jr.
Wilbur "Bill" Matthews Jr., age 82, of Biscoe, passed away on April 6, 2026, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Mr. Matthews was born on July 14, 1943, to Wilbur and Emmie Howell Matthews Sr. He worked for many years as a salesman in the food industry until his retirement. Wilbur enjoyed fishing and feeding the animals.
He is survived by his wife Penny Hughes Matthews of the home.
No services are planned at this time.
The Matthews family is being served by Phillips Funeral Home in Star.
