William Charles Davis

Seagrove - William Charles "Bill" Davis, 67, of 1184 Dover Church Road, died Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 29, 2011, at Leach Cemetery with the Rev. Hubert McLeod officiating. He was born in Montgomery County to Paul Edwin and Mary Elizabeth Green Davis and was a carpenter. He was predeceased by his son, William Charles Davis, Jr. Surviving are his wife, Joyce Sanders Davis, of the home; sons, Rayvon Davis of Asheboro, Joey Davis of Germany; daughters, Marie Davis of Candor, Audrey Davis of Candor; step-daughters, Sara Stutts of Laurinburg, Evelyn Greene of Star; brother, Jimmy Lee Davis, of Albemarle; 13 grandchildren. The family will receive friends prior to the graveside service from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM, Saturday, January 29, 2011, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
