William Arthur Gadd

William A. Gadd, age 79, of 214 Dover Rd., Star, died Saturday, August 22, 2009 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Martin E. Davis and Rev. James Laws officiating. Burial will be in Leach Cemetery, Star. Mr. Gadd was born in Montgomery County to James Franklin and Bonnie Freeman Gadd. He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of Calvary Temple in Biscoe. Surviving are: Wife, Thelma Freeman Gadd, of the home Brother, James Gadd, of Star The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Monday, August 24, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
