William Kyle Henley

William Kyle Henley, age 46, of Star, passed away on August 7, 2026.

Kyle was born on July 14, 1980, in Moore County to James William "Junior" Henley Jr. and Elisa Harrington. Kyle worked as a machine operator and was a fan of NC State and NASCAR and enjoyed watching wrestling. He loved his family and will be deeply missed. He has now gone home to heaven.

He was preceded in death by his mother Elisa Harrington Mashburn and grandparents James Willam and Katherine Henley.

Kyle is survived by his wife Amanda Thompson Henley of the home; daughters Haley Greene (David) and Abigail Henley, father, Junior Henley (Holly) of Star, brother Andrew Henley (Samantha) and sister Jessica Henley of Star.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Phillips Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Biscoe Cemetery officiated by Rev. Chuck Thompson.
