Willus W. Morgan

Willus W. Morgan, 32nd degree Mason, aged 91 of Milwaukee, WI, formerly of Candor, N.C, died on December 27, 2010. He was the dear husband of the late Carolyn; devoted father to Scott (Mary Beth) and Lee (Kathryn); cherished grandfather of Kyle, Courtney, Lee and Alexandra; great-grandfather of Kalena Morgan. Willus was preceded in death by his parents, George and Bertie McCallum Morgan, and brothers, George L. and Ralph of Newport News, VA. Brother-in-law of Earlene Morgan. Willus was the proud uncle to the family of George L. Morgan and until his final hours, had a sentimental attachment to the McCallum sisters of Candor, as well as many nephews, nieces and cousins. Willus proudly served his country during WWII, and thereafter began a 29 year career as Fleet Manager with General Motors Corp. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday, December 31, 2010, at Macedonia Presbyterian Church, Troy-Candor Road. Interment will follow in the McCallum Family Cemetery, Candor with Masonic Rites. The family will receive friends from 7 - 9 PM, Thursday, December 30, 2010, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in the name of Willus W.
