Winfred "Boots" Sanders

Winfred "Boots" Sanders, age 77, of Eagle Springs, passed away on January 16, 2026, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

Born on December 25, 1948, in Moore County, he was the son of Calvin and Annie Morgan Sanders. Mr. Sanders dedicated many years of his life to the construction industry before retiring.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Garner.

He is survived by his wife, Hilda Lethco Sanders of the home, as well as his daughters, Karen Enloe (Robert) of Seven Lakes, Kay Williams of Clayton, GA., son, Timmy Bruce of Ramseur, brothers Frank Sanders and Harold Sanders. As well as grandchildren, Christopher Lewis, Victoria Thigpen, Courtney Eiserman (Zack), Clay Enloe, Claire Enloe, and Frankie Williams.

A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, January 23, 2026, at the family cemetery located at the end of Etta Bell Rd. at 2:00 pm officiated by Dr. Larry Tyler.
